Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process? How long does install take?

We come and do a site visit to discuss your fence and requirements. Then we email you a quote.

All PVC jobs are made to order.

If you want to go ahead, a 10% deposit is required to confirm acceptance and proceed with manufacture of the materials.

Most installs take approximately 2 days. However, we will confirm this based on the size of the job.

Can the fence be put on top of an existing wall or concrete?

Yes, the fence can be attached to either an existing wall or concrete.

The posts can be flange plated or core drilled depending on the materials used.

This can be discussed further at the site visit and we can recommend the best option.

Can I mix and match styles and heights?

Yes, all styles and heights can be mixed and matched to suit your needs.

For example, you can do a feature front fence in 1.2m and the sides in full privacy in 1.8m between neighbours. We can even rake the front panel down to meet the front fence height.

Can we add more to our fence later?

Yes, some customers start with a front fence and then add side boundary fences or even gates.

We can even do your install in stages and tie into the existing fence along the way.

What can I do if my land slopes?

All panels can be raked to follow the ground level. This minimises the gap under the fence.

The other option is to step the fence. However, there will be gaps unless you follow a retaining wall or edging.

This can be discussed further at the site visit and we can recommend the best option.

Do you do side gates?

Yes, you don’t have to do a fence.

We can custom make single or double gates with fixed panels if required and install them at the sides of your house.

If you already have a PVC fence, these can be made in the same style to match or you can do a different style.

How do I maintain the PVC?

PVC fences are low maintenance and require little effort to maintain their look.

If there is grime, mould or mildew on the fence, we suggest that you wipe the fence with a damp clean cloth and/or simply wash the fence. A mild detergent can also be used. Please don’t use anything abrasive as this could scratch the PVC.

If you have a stubborn mark, we recommend buying the 30 seconds outdoor cleaner from Bunnings and following the instructions on the bottle.

How do I maintain the gates?

Single pedestrian and double swing gates have moving parts and may require some maintenance every now and then.

As the gates are used and the ground moves and settles over time, the latch and/or hinges may require lubrication and tightening/adjustment to maintain desirable hanging.

With sliding gates, please regularly check that the track remains clear of any debris, stones/rocks, grass etc, as this could prevent the gate from sliding smoothly.

What is the warranty?

The warranty for PVC fence materials purchased for use by the original owner will have a 20-year limited life free from defects caused by manufacture defects and faulty material.

All constructed components and non PVC gate hardware are covered by a 12 month warranty.

Our workmanship is covered by a 7 year warranty from date of installation.

A full warranty will be emailed to you on completion of the install.
